Today the kids at the Steinerschool celebrated Whitsun. As is traditional, the maypole came out of the mothballs last Monday and it would be put up in the morning and taken down in the afternoon, so that the kids could practie their years' intricate weaving of the ribbons, to show the rest of the school, and us parents.The infants have a Whitsun bride and groom, walking underneath the bows that are held by the first years.
