Max started his new school enthusiastically, seen as there was an Apple MacBook in the offing... Happy as anything he is now, even less likely to leave his bedroom... He said - after having spent a morning chatting with his new class-mates in the park when the sports day was cancelled due to monsoon - that it didn't feel like going to school any more, and it seemed that the others in his year are far more fun to hang out with. He appeared relieved...
Otto is back to his 'farmers-school', year 3 now, and he still classes it 'very boring'... Petal.
Felix was quite happy to go back, although he would hate to admit it out loud. His friend Bram came over to play yesterday and they were back to their silly little boy antics... Yeay... His new year 5/6 teacher hasn't been reviewed yet, which probably means she's alright...
Polly - now in year 2 but in the same classroom as year 1 - is over the moon that her friend Eise has joined them. He's a year younger but they still love hanging out together, understand each other pretty well (both youngest of three other sex siblings...). Although she's the butt of stupid jokes by one of the boys in her year who can't handle the fact that her best friend is a boy... Just hoping this will make her stronger for it...
So i now have the house back for myself. And although i was looking forward to it for most of the holidays, i'm amazed at how dull it all feels now... I'm off to find something extremely groovy to do!!!
