And of course i waited until the last possible day to make the Present for Sinterklaas this year for Polly... The first years get a picture and paintings folder, made from two sheets of wood, and this was the fourth time i was supposed to make something pretty of it. Normally i make something simple and colourful, fairly neutral, but Polly isn't a neutral person so she was going to get something more spacial: pink/purple shades with a few green twirly branches, representing the growth process. I just hope that she likes it...


The painting on the panels (which will have to be stuck together with special tape) felt wonderful. I should do this more often, just get some brushes, paint and a canvas, and make a start... It's so pleasurable to do so... My resolution for after Sinterklaas...
