With the Buddhist thought in mind - a tidy house makes for tidy thinking - i went on a cleaning spree this morning. The toy cupboard needed sorting out, the book/dvd/fish bowl/display shelves could use a cloth and elsewhere were enough surfaces that hadn't been cleaned properly in donkey's years.

The result was breathtaking (or rather: breath-encouraging...). Felix told me which cars he didn't want any more (and which will be taken to a second-hand shop), a whole box full of Duplo is going to be dumped (at a friend's), the books, DVD's, fish bowl and displayed bits don't have their feet in a layer of dust any more and my satisfaction knows no bounds... For now...
